- Adding resp. removing characters and locations from a scene is more handy now. On the top the chosen characters are shown. On the bottom all characters are shown. Simple double click to a character to add (from the list on the bottom) or remove (list on top) it. Alternatively you can use the buttons "add" resp. "remove". A * in front of a character's name shows that this is a central character. Central characters are listed first. Locations are sorted by country first, then by city.
 - The charts has been completely redesigned. Most charts use JFreeChart now. The charts are more configurable now. Those how are based on JFreeChart can be zoomed (click and draw with the left mouse button). You can also change some settings in the context menu (right click).
- The chronological view uses a nice gradient background now. Since this makes the program a bit slower, it can be turned off in the preferences:
 - StorYBook is available in Japanese and traditional Chinese now. Many thanks to Asakura Sumako and WC Yan for the translation work!
- For translators: A so called "translator mode" has been implemented. For more information see the documents in section "Translators".
