• Java 6 (download it here, Storybook will NOT work with Java 5 or previous versions)

• Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista
• Linux (tested with openSUSE 11.2, should also work with other distributions)
• Mac OS X: Try the version for Linux

• After the download just double-click on the setup file and follow the instructions.

• Download the appropriate file from the download section.
• Copy the downloaded file to the desired directory. Storybook doesn't need root permission to install. You can install it somewhere in your home directory without any problems:

Extract the file:
$ tar xvf storybook_2.1.13_linux.tar.gz

Run it:
$ cd storybook
$ ./storybook.sh
